The enchanting Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival is a cherished community affair held annually in the picturesque village of Brighstone on the Isle of Wight.

Cece, Eden, Aireen, Niveria and Anna have joined together to create a Christmas Tree from natural resources. The aim is to promote kindness to the environment and to promote sustainability. They will highlight global warming and its impact on worldwide natural resources.

Our Christmas Tree is on show at the Isle of Wight Pearl from 1st December until 3rd January 2024 as part of the Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival 2023

Venues

Trees will be on display between the 7th and 10th December at

  • Brighstone Library
  • Brighstone Methodist Church
  • Brighstone Reading Rooms
  • St Mary’s Church Brighstone
  • The Three Bishops Pub Brighstone
  • Wilberforce Hall Brighstone

Other venues such as the Isle of Wight Pearl will run their activities as follows

  • Isle of Wight Pearl from December 1st 2023 to January 3rd 2024 opens all day.
  • Calbourne Water Mill from December 1st to December 27th 2023 opens all day.
  • All Saint’s Church Calbourne from December 7th to December 10th 2023 opens all day.
  • Mottistone Church, Mottistone from December 7th to December 10th 2023 opens all day. 

Brighstone Christmas Fair

Come join us for a Christmas Craft Fair with special home-made refreshments at the Brighstone Scout Hut

  • Friday 8th December from 10am to 4pm
  • Saturday 9th December from 10am to 4pm
  • Sunday 10th December from 10am to 1:30pm

Santa is expected in his grotto during the fair where little ones can meet Santa himself and capture unforgettable moments.

Over 150 meticulously adorned Christmas trees grace various charming venues throughout the villages of Brighstone, Calbourne and Mottistone.

A new feature will be a Vectis Vintage Tractors tractor run to reflect the area’s agricultural heritage. They will be decorated with Christmas lights and tinsel.and travel from IW Pearl at 3.30pm on Saturday 9th December to visit all the venues.

Local musicians will fill the air with melodies that harmonise with the festive atmosphere throughout the weekend.
