- Visit from Gina Dyer who is The New Carnival Company Lead Artist to FG Cowes Group on Wednesday 8th March
- Visit from T Hop from London to FG Cowes Group on Wednesday15th of March (Mardi Gras)
- FG Cowes Group visit to Osborne House on Wednesday12th of April from 10.00 to 12:30 (Mardi Gras)
Come and Join our new Equals Men’s Friendship Group. Our first informal meet and greet session is on

Come and share in fun activities designed to get to know one another.
Come and suggest ways to build the new men’s group and explore ideas and ways of future fun and cultural experiences.
Coming from an ethnic background, you may sometimes feel like you need a friend who understands and supports you in the community.
If so join the New Equals Men’s Friendship Group.

Very pleased with the success of the New Year Party on Jan 20, 2017 at the Combined Social Club in Cowes. The Team Friendship group of Equals worked hard to raise £258 for food and raffles. Thank you all of you and to your friends that comes along. Hope to see you one more soon!

Large Scale Equals Event Proposed
It was suggested having a large scale Equals multicultural event sometime next year.
- The title to be generic including all ethnicities
- Late July next year
- Provisionally at County show ground
- Equals to have a stall to raise awareness of diversity on the Island
- Opportunity to raise fund for Equals.
Friendship Group
An idea was discussed as to whether the Friendship Group can do cookery classes to raise funds.
- People could bring ingredients
- Learn cooking
- Enjoy eating variety of dishes.
